ABASCO offers several different types of sorbents including sorbent rolls, socknet booms, sorbent pads, sorbent rolls and an organic sorbent (Miracle Sorb). ABASCO turbidity curtains (also called turbidity barriers, silt curtains, or silt barriers) contain the silt and sediments stirred by in-water or near-water construction activities and by dredging operations. Our turbidity control specialists will help you conform to all regulations and requirements that might apply to your project, including the Clean Water Act, National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and state (DOT) and local regulations. Manufactured to exacting standards, ABASCO turbidity curtains feature premium materials, reinforcement of all highly stressed areas (corners, flotation pocket hinge points, and section ends) and furling systems for easy curtain deployment and retrieval. We offer three basic grades of turbidity curtains, based on anticipated hydrodynamic forces: Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3. |
